Gautham Menon and Murugadoss have been hand picked by reputed Hollywood production houses to make films for them in India.
According to reliable sources, a Hollywood production house has signed a deal with Gautham to produce four films in a year for it. Gautham who appreciates talent and people is said to offer the chances to young up coming directors under his supervision. Gautham Menon who is in the final schedule of his film starring his assistant Veera is gearing up to shoulder something big and deserving.
Similarly Warner Brothers has signed Murugadoss as its south Indian representative and asked him to make four films in a year for them. As per plans Murugadoss will himself direct the first film for Warner Brothers. Murugadoss will also give chances to young aspiring directors in other films like Gautham Menon.

Gautam Menon will be directing Ajith’s 50th film.
This is planned as an action film. The screenplay is getting finalized. The film will be like Hollywood’s James Bond film.
Ajith’s next film will not be titled ‘Thuppariyum Anand’, said Gautam. He has decided to title it as ‘Kakhi (A) Kaval’. This title is under consideration.
Produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri, the inaugural function is planned on a grand scale in Madurai.

Ajmal while speaking to the media said,” I am acting with Jeeva in the film Ko directed by K V Anand. I am happy that I am acting with my senior Jeeva. I am doing a negative role in this film.

I am also acting in a film titled Karappan Patti directed by Prabhu who is an assistant of director Shankar. I am donning dual roles in this film for the first time. This film pertains to two periods. The shooting of this film is to begin soon.
With regard to my vision about Tamil cinema, I wish to say that many innovative things are happening in Tamil cinema than other languages. Recently when I saw the film Aayirathil Oruvan in the theaters ,I was stunned.
I felt like congratulating the director if he happened to be there somewhere. The director has made this film on par with the Hollywood film Avatar. James Cameroon took 20 years to make this film while it took only few years to complete Aayirathil Oruvan. We should give our support to such films. Only this will pave way for better films.”

In all equivalence, the film’s teaser faintly resembles Giuseppe Tornatore’s ‘Malena’ that happens to be a mind-boggling classic in the history of world cinema…

Vimala Raman may not have enough opportunities in Kollywood, but the lady is doing well in Tollywood. And now she has bagged an English film titled Dame 999. Vimala will share the screen space with a Hollywood actor and actress. Dame 999 will go on floors from March 1st. The film’s crew is an assortment from Bollywood, Mollywood and Hollywood. Vimala plays the role of Malayali lass in love with an English man.

Perhaps, the film ‘Sivi’ hadn’t received more laurels at that point of time, but now the Hindi remake has gradually peaked with some laudable credits in box office. Sangeeth Sivan has wielded megaphone for this horror flick that features famous actor Shreyas Talpade in lead along with South Indian actresses Sadha and Sneha Ullal starring opposite him in female lead.The Tamil version had veteran ace actor ‘Thengai’ Srinivasan’s grandson Yogi in lead with debutants Jayashree Rao and Anuja Iyer of ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ fame in female lead. Though, the film was received with good welcome, it didn’t come up with better results amongst universal audiences.It’s worth mentioning that ‘Sivi’ itself is a remake of Thai film ‘Shutter’ that was later remade in Hollywood with the same title.

As of now, Kamal Haasan is busy penning screenplay for his upcoming film ‘Yaavarum Kelir’, directed b K.S. Ravikumar.According to the closer circuit, it has been mentioned that the versatile personality is busy working on other scripts simultaneously. In mere future, he has decided to dub his films or simultaneously in English. As well, Padmashree has ardently determined to rope in internationally famous actors in those films so as to add the global flavor.It’s worth mentioning that Bollywood is already running forward in the race with so many Hollywood hotshots being roped in the films including ‘Gandhi’ fame Ben Kingsley in ‘Teen Patti’.

I have started concentrating in South Indian language films then Hindi films.I am getting variety of roles only here. I am acting with Mohan Lal in the Malayalam film Casanova. This is an action film. In Hollywood they make action films with the heroines. But this trend has not come to Indian cinema. If anybody makes this kind of action film I would like to do the action heroine role.”
